The Guntersville Depot summer lecture series concluded Saturday, August 22 when Dale Strange presented a informative and interesting lecture about beekeeping. The lecture also gave a overview of the lives and behavior honey bees.

On July 25th, Wayne Hunt, the curator of the Boaz Legacy Museum, shared a captivating talk about John Paul Jones at a lecture that was well attended. The audience gained a deeper understanding of Jones’ life and the significant impact of this American Patriot during the Revolutionary War.

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Guntersville Train Depot Museum is showcasing items from local veterans who’ve shared items from their experiences in the military during World Wars. You can find some of these display pieces in the photo gallery below. Don’t miss the Guntersville Depot, which is open Saturdays from 1-4 pm in July and August. Just a heads-up, the Depot will be closed this Saturday, July 4th.
