To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Guntersville Train Depot Museum is showcasing items from local veterans who’ve shared items from their experiences in the military during World Wars. You can find some of these display pieces in the photo gallery below. Don’t miss the Guntersville Depot, which is open Saturdays from 1-4 pm in July and August. Just a heads-up, the Depot will be closed this Saturday, July 4th.
The Guntersville Train Depot has recently added a charming, time-appropriate red wagon display!
A big thank you to Randy Norman, Bobby Huellemeier, and Chuck Wills. Their hard work in acquiring and refurbishing The Depot’s red wagon was truly invaluable.
Special thanks to volunteer Ken for setting up some model train cars and engines dating 1945 and 1980. At this time the tracks are inoperative .
